Acknowledgement of Country

Just Let Us Eat respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which I work.

Lucy (Just Let Us Eat) is based on the lands of the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation, in Narrm (Melbourne). I pay my deepest respects to Aboriginal communities of the Kulin Nation, acknowledging Elders, past and present.

I honour this rich land and food that it has grown for hundreds of years and the people it has nourished over those years. I also honour and respect the holistic food systems practiced by the First Nations people which were disassembled by colonisation.

I pay respect to the cultures, knowledge and continued history of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Nations, uniting learning, knowledge exchange, culture, connection and wellbeing.
